Blackberry Blooms

I'm studying the forms of those newly discovered blackberry blossoms in the pasture today!  With ink, I sketch the lines, then I fill in with watercolor (using my half pan travel set).  I've got Robert Oster's Great Southern Ocean ink in my TWSBI fountain pen, landing a turquoise hue to those shadow masses.  Love ink and watercolor for those quick sketches in my tiny painting windows.  Love this quiet time spent in nature!  Painting number 2691 in 2691 days.
