The leaves are already turning in northern Ohio. In fact, all through Ohio, Indiana and parts of Illinois, leaves were turning and dropping to the ground. I took photos every time I went outside - and all the way back to Missouri. This painting is from one of those locations. I wish I had brought my paints with me, but I had not. Next time, I will bring them even when I don't think I'll be able to use them. It seems so long since I've been out painting the fall foliage! I am really looking forward to capturing this season as it unfolds. This is painting number 278 in as many days.
