Elmore Barn

After pouring over the photos of a lifetime, I take a few minutes to ink the barn next door.  Autumn color peaked the morning after dad passed away, so I'm left with what remains.  Still colorful, but not vibrant,  I lay those colors in with my watercolor half pan set.  It is the only medium I left town with, sure that I would not be gone so long.  I will never be without my oils again.  How beautifully they would capture the landscape now.  Painting number 2111 in 2111 days.
